National Handling Services Private Limited (NHS) invites applications from self-motivated and energetic candidates to fill two Security Supervisor positions that have arisen within its operations in Harare.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Security Agents and subcontracted security guards.
• Supervising, monitoring and evaluating the deployment of security personnel in line with assigned duties.
• Investigating reported or suspected security breaches and generating reports.
• Ensuring that maintenance and calibration records for security equipment are properly filed.
• Supervising the handling, packaging and escorting of outbound and inbound valuable cargo.
• Supervising and ensuring that firearms cleared in accordance with the SOP are loaded onto aircraft.
• Ensuring Security Agents conduct Passenger Manifest Editing to identify passengers destined for high-risk destinations.
• Ensuring Security Agents attend customer airlines' briefings before the airline commences the passenger acceptance process.
• Supervising prepared work schedules and rosters before implementation.
• Performing any other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Diploma in Security, Risk Management or equivalent.
• Certificate in Security/Risk Management.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Aviation Security and Compliance Agent.
• Knowledge of ICAO, IOSA, ISAGO and National Handling Services security regulations and procedures .
• Knowledge of firearms/weapon handling.
• Computer literacy.
