Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport learners, staff and visitors to and from designated destinations.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of passengers at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the school bus.
- Adhere to road traffic regulations and school transport policies.
- Report accidents, incidents, defects and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Keep accurate trip and fuel records where required.
- Assist with school trips, sporting events, educational tours and other school transport activities.
- Promote discipline and appropriate conduct among passengers while on the bus.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' proven experience as a bus driver
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- Good knowledge of road traffic regulations
- Clean driving record
