Trainee Records and Information Assistant

Office of the Master of the High Court of Zimbabwe is seeking to appoint a Trainee Records and Information Assistant. Department: Deceased Estates/Corporate Recovery, Liquidation and Estates of other Incapacitated Persons. 4 posts: 1 x Bulawayo, 1 x Gweru, 2 x Gwanda. Reports to Principal Assistant Master.

Key Responsibilities

• General management of records.
• Administration of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Administration and maintenance of records, including retrievals and disposals in terms of the National Archives Act.
• Provide registry services and process departmental mail in line with the applicable prescripts.
• Attend to any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• A Degree in Records and Information Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Registry processes and practices, as well as records storage and retrieval procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
